What is the constructive learning target?
Among the features in GCU's Student Portal – Halo Learns are Forums, Announcements, Calendars, and the Student Success Center. The components are on the left panel underneath the Halo Learn logo.
Using the Forums page, students and instructors can exchange ideas and provide constructive feedback on one another's posts. Students can get answers to the same questions that their teachers have by asking questions in public or private. All unread topics are visible to students, and they can ask questions in instructor and discussion forums. In addition, you can view student posts in current class discussion threads. Maintain open lines of communication between my classmates and my teacher so that we can all progress together.
It is easy to keep track of due dates using this link (http://Flipgrid.com/s/gz-SqssqP3xL). All assignments, quizzes, DQs, and participation for the current week can be found on the Calendar. On the Calendar, we can see assignments, deadlines, necessary text material, and new information and alerts that are essential to our success in the course. Students can receive assistance with writing papers, APA style, plagiarism prevention methods, and university policies through the Student Success Center. For quick navigation, there is a search bar at the top, and at the bottom, you will find links to Colleges, Tools, and Support. Tutoring services are available for students who are having trouble with their classes or assignments when the GCU portal or connections are down (Horvath, 2019). To ensure my success in any particularly challenging classes, I plan to use this resource to get additional support, aside from viewing the correct format directly correlates to the course's success.
